Tim Sharp is a Dutch Australian writer-director making films about a world coming apart and coming together in all kinds of strange ways, with an eye for the surreal and a deep commitment to shooting practically and in-camera wherever possible.

His most recent short Jubilee is touring internationally and headlines the horror block at CinefestOZ 2026. His previous short Light Can't Escape world premiered at FilmQuest, playing at 28 festivals including Oscar-qualifying Palm Springs ShortFest, Flickerfest and St Kilda, won the Audience Award at Glasgow FP Arts, and debuted online as a Vimeo Staff Pick.

He is currently developing his debut feature, Bungalow.
