Tim Sharp is a Dutch Australian filmmaker based in Melbourne, Victoria. He enjoys telling stories about interesting characters encountering the unexpected. 

His latest film, Jubilee, is currently touring the world festival circuit.

His previous film, Light Can't Escape, world premiered at FilmQuest and was accepted into over 28 festivals including the Oscar-qualifying Palm Springs, Flickerfest and St Kilda Film Festivals as well as the Glasgow FP Arts Film Festival where it won the "Audience Award". It debuted online as a Vimeo Staff Pick.

He is currently in development on a film about a man who marries a kangaroo.
