Tim Sharp is a Dutch Australian filmmaker based in Melbourne, Victoria. He enjoys telling stories about interesting characters encountering the unexpected. His latest short, Light Can't Escape, world premiered at FilmQuest and was accepted into over 28 festivals including the Oscar-qualifying Palm Springs and St Kilda Film Festivals as well as the Glasgow FP Arts Film Festival where it won the "Audience Award".

He is currently in post production on a movie about vampires experiencing a marital crisis.
